Students are essential to our work at the Spencer Museum of Art. Undergraduate and graduate students make up approximately half of our staff and are vital contributors to our exhibitions, programs, and day-to-day operations. These students provide essential support to departments across the Museum while benefiting from the opportunity to gain practical work experience.

“As an aspiring curator, my internship at the Spencer Museum has been invaluable because it has provided me with opportunities to assist with exhibition planning, public programming, and acquiring artwork for the collection.”
– Dominique Stringer, Public Practice Intern and Museum Studies graduate student
