Help future KU lawyers pass the bar
With their law degree in hand, graduates face one final hurdle to becoming a lawyer – the bar exam. KU Law’s Bar Exam Support Fund helps students clear that hurdle without the financial pressure of paying for a commercial bar review course. The program gives all KU Law students access to a post-graduation bar review course as part of a comprehensive suite of preparation resources. Following the launch of this program in 2018, 100% of KU Law graduates in calendar year 2021 passed the bar exam within two years of graduation, the highest rate for ultimate pass rate nationally. Your contribution helps sponsor this program for future generations of Jayhawk lawyers.
Help students when they need a hand
An unforeseen financial emergency or catastrophic event can have lasting effects on a student’s education. To make sure such a situation doesn’t prevent a student from continuing to graduation, KU Law has established the Student Emergency Fund. The fund provides one-time grants to students in need of emergency financial assistance, including covering costs such as counseling and mental health services. Please consider a contribution of any size to provide emergency support for students.
