Aspiring designers come from around Kansas, the country, and the world for a hands-on design education that only KU offers. With the help of donors like you, we are enhancing opportunities for these Jayhawks and removing barriers to design education for talented young people throughout our area.
Today, join fellow alumni and friends to help provide opportunities for current and future students.
Invest in student success:
Due to the generosity of past One Day One KU donors, we are now offering more scholarships, mentorship programs, career-building events, and funding more student success initiatives than ever before. Your One Day One KU donations support:
- Funding for student groups
- Study abroad scholarships
- Student conference travel
- Lectures and career workshops
Remove barriers and empower creativity:
At the KU School of Architecture & Design, ambition is encouraged. But the cost of the software, printing, hardware, and materials needed to learn and create adds up quickly. Thanks to One Day One KU donors like you, all students now receive:
- Free Adobe Creative Suite
- Free printing
- Laptops available for checkout
- Emergency financial assistance
- Open new pathways into design education
Support from One Day One KU donors allowed for an expansion of KU Design Camp, the School’s immersive pre college program for high school students. For the first time ever, two options were available for students to participate: the long-running residential camp on the Lawrence campus and a new day-camp at KU’s Edwards Campus in Overland Park. Donor support helped provide scholarships and transportation for day campers from Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri.
Your support creates real impact:
For 24 hours each year, the KU community comes together to support current and future Jayhawks, but the impact extends beyond a single day. It is an investment that can spark dreams, reveal career paths, and change lives.
