Help us Launch the KU Medical Center Student Emergency Fund
KU Medical Center students work incredibly hard to balance their academics with competing priorities—family, friends, and often jobs. For many, an emergency can make the difference in their ability to continue their education. The KU Medical Center Student Emergency Fund will be used for students experiencing an unexpected or unforeseen expense due to circumstances beyond their control. Emergency funds are intended to assist a student in addressing an immediate, unexpected financial hardship which might otherwise prevent them from continued participation as a KU Medical Center student.
Help our students THRIVE!
The THRIVE Food Pantry is a free resource available to all students and exists to supplement students' current food circumstances. Providing non-perishable food items will help students meet their basic dietary needs and will ensure they never have to choose between things like books or food. Last year THRIVE served over 400 individual students and their families with 19% of users reporting feeding 3 or more people including children and elders. This is only possible through the continued support from our campus community.
