The University of Kansas Debate Team has a long-standing heritage as one of the most successful academic programs at KU with a legacy that parallels the success of KU Men's Basketball.

At the National Debate Tournament (NDT), the KU Debate Team has:

• Won 6 National Championships.
• Reached 20 Final Fours.
• Qualified for the tournament every year since 1968.
• Claimed second place in the 2024 NDT.

With rising expenses, your contributions are essential to build upon the success of the KU Debate program. Contributions to the KU Debate Team Support Fund provide opportunities for KU students to travel to national competitions. Your support also provides scholarships for students on the debate team, allowing KU to be competitive in recruiting and retaining nationally competitive debaters.
