What is a One Day One KU Ambassador?
Ambassadors power One Day One KU by spreading the word to their networks through social media, email, phone calls, texting and word of mouth.
Every single dollar raised makes a significant impact on KU’s future. Last year, over 250 ambassadors inspired more than 1,100 gifts and raised over $350,000. This year, we hope to exceed those numbers to do even more good for the university we love, and we need your help!
Why should YOU be an Ambassador?
You can use your voice and influence to support KU in the area of greatest importance to you!
When you sign up, you’ll select a One Day One KU campaign tied to a school or campus initiative. You’ll receive a unique URL to track the dollars raised from your peers, family and friends.
Not only will you be helping KU win during One Day One KU — YOU could win prizes!
All ambassadors who secure 2+ gifts through their unique URL will receive a limited-edition One Day One KU car freshener. If you secure 5+ gifts you will also receive a pair of car coasters.

Power Hour Toolkit
Power Hours gamify Giving Day by rewarding participation during specific times. Get involved:
- Your unit can win bonus dollars by participating in a Power Hour.
- Use the graphics provided to spread the word. To ensure a fair competition, Power Hours rankings are based on unique donors.
- Multiple donations from the same individual will be recorded but will only count as one ‘gift’ toward the Power Hour prize.
