Expand personalized student recruitment efforts through our NextGen recruitment program in partnership with KU Admissions. Over the past 10 years, we’ve increased the number of legacy undergraduates from 15% to 25% of the student population.

Grow the Jayhawk Career Network, offering resources like KU Mentoring+, continuing education courses, professional development, and networking for Jayhawks at every career stage. More than 16,000 Jayhawks have joined the platform, sharing over 40,000 messages.

Support the Student Alumni Network and Student Alumni Ambassador Program:

• SAN is the largest student organization of its kind in the Big 12. This program is critical in supporting the student experience through curated communications, events and resources. 
• Student Alumni Ambassadors engage in a year-long leadership and development program that includes 1-to-1 mentorship, volunteer service, campus leadership and more. Cumulatively, our current class of Ambassadors will give over 3,000 hours of volunteer service to KU. 

Create exceptional experiences for prospective students, returning alumni, and visitors at the new Jayhawk Welcome Center and Adams Alumni Center. This leading-edge facility contributes to record-breaking freshman classes and hosted over 50,000 visitors and 800 events in its first year.

Connect Jayhawks through alumni networks worldwide, including geographical networks, the Black Alumni Network, Hispanic Alumni Network, and Veterans Alumni Network, which helped KU achieve a #9 ranking as a military and veteran-friendly school.

Offer new engagement opportunities for graduates of our medical programs and those in healthcare, like the recent health professionals’ industry night at the Jayhawk Welcome Center.
